From my home to yours- Part 5:
If your a thrifty, flea market, vintage chic loving kind of lady then you’ll appreciate this little suggestion. Tiny jars are adorable, old tiny jars are even better.
Next time you are flea marketing/thrifting keep an eye out for any cork lid jars. Collect jars of all shapes and sizes and arrange them on a shelf/window sill in your bathroom or beyond!
I found these in a french thrift type store in France last summer and I love them. Most of them are still empty but I have filled one with the pearls from a broken pearl necklace and the biggest is filled with lavender bath salts (with a handy mini shoval attached :) )
I display these on a shelf in my bathroom and they look lovely, very dainty, feminine, french and little bit vintage inspired. Get jar hunting!!!

Got too many beautiful necklaces? Forget jewellery boxes, go hunting for some beautiful vintage handles and knobs for drawers etc… You can get brand new ones or go thrift store/flea market shopping, choose how ever many you need, mismatched is much more effective! Attach them to the wall near your dressing table and dangle all your costume jewellery! Totally Vintage inspired, totally chic…and lovely!
Have a look at my hints and tips page for more vintage inspired ideas!

If, like me, you have a million beateous trinkets and a love for all things vintage inspired, then why not display your most charming trinkets in a vintage cake stand! It is the perfect accessory for any vintage inspired dressing table, so classy and elegant!
This photo is my own.

From my home to yours- Part 2:
I have this ugly, modern, reproduced coat rack on my bedroom wall- I can’t remove it, the flat doesn’t belong to me and I don’t want two ugly holes on my wall. So, I covered the damn thing with all my little hanging treasures and it has become a real focal point of my room! Mine features some of my many hanging hearts, some Laura Ashley photo framed, a vintage style clutch bag, a birthday card that I love a lot, some roses and an East of India trinket. Why don’t you try it to?
Simply get yourself a cheap, boring coat rack and get hanging all your little wonders, the prettier the better. Your treasures will get the attention they deserve and it’ll make for a lovely feature in your bedroom…or any room infact!
Whoever said coat racks should only be for coats..was a fool!

Necklaces as curtain ties, it definitely works. I had this pearl necklace lying around and I needed a curtain tie. You can buy some lovely ones but they are often expensive. So I put my necklace around the curtain and this is what I got. Very pretty, very French Chic, it has lasted me a long time and at a minimum cost. I have also done this with a pair of burgundy curtains using a very cheap string of pearls and the effect is adorable!  So, try it…you might like it.
